Default Videoredo

I'm trying to run SA and Videoredo from SageTV using dirmon. I am still the idiot who can't get anything to run. Any help with the setup process is appreciated. BTW, why are all the slashes in dirmon backwards? (c:/ vs C:\) Thanks.

Bob

Can I see your DirMon.ini?

Oh, the slashes are forward for consistancy through various platforms.

I sure hope you can help me get this going. This combo worked great in GBPVR. Now if I can get it automated in SageTV. Thanks.

Ok. I've gone over your previous posts and I think I understand your goal. If I understand correctly, even SA won't run for you. Correct?

First, is Q a mapped drive? If it is then you will need to change to running the service as a user. The first time you do this, you should do this in the Windows Service Manager because it will ensure that the user in question has the proper permissions.

Second, change the "Priority Boost Due to Job Description" in the SA job to 1. This will ensure that SA runs prior to VideoRedo.

Third, check the HKLM/Software/Dragon Global/ registry key. You should have 2 "branches", one for SA and one for DM. If either one isn't there, reinstall the corresponding program.

Fourth, the VideoRedo job will require custom command line options. After I get home, I'll try to come up with something that will work for you.

Fifth, let me know if any of that makes any difference for you.

Everything makes sense so far. Q is not a mapped drive. It was mapped on another machine, but that's going away (sharing unique drive letters). SA seems to run ok using dirmon. Thanks for helping with this. Seems I was wrong. I can't get SA to run from Dirmon.
