"System Volume Information" access error

While I don't think it affects anything, I get these errors in my Dirmon log file:

2006-Mar-18 16:13:55 - boost::filesystem::directory_iterator constructor: "\\Vid-server\d-drive\System Volume Information": Access is denied.
2006-Mar-18 16:13:56 - boost::filesystem::directory_iterator constructor: "\\Vid-server\d-drive\System Volume Information": Access is denied.
2006-Mar-18 16:23:56 - boost::filesystem::directory_iterator constructor: "\\Vid-server\d-drive\System Volume Information": Access is denied.
2006-Mar-18 16:23:57 - boost::filesystem::directory_iterator constructor: "\\Vid-server\d-drive\System Volume Information": Access is denied.

My jobs are running correctly, but these seem to occur every ten minutes. I'm only targeting on *.mpg files, so I'm not sure why it would be trying to access any other files.

any thoughts?

DM is trying to search the subdirectories. Since that is a subdirectory, DM is trying to get into it. It can't, hence the error. It isn't anything to worry about. That directory and "RECYCLER" are common causes of that error. However, since it is an expected error it is nothing to worry about.

I log the error so that any access errors are known.
