Default How would I monitor directories to remove old files?

I'm using Comskip to generate my Beyond TV smartchapter files and I also have it output a VPRJ file so I can easily edit the video, using VideoRedo. I don't edit every video, but when I want to do it, occasionally, it is nice to have the VPRJ (VideoRedo Project file) right there, ready for me.

I would like to monitor my video directory and remove any *.VPRJ files that don't have an accompanying *.mpg or *.tp file with the same name. This may be possible with a simple scheduled batch script, but I don't know how to write one to do this.

I thought maybe Dirmon2 could help me with this, but I'm unclear how to get it to perform this kind of action.

Any help would be appreciated.

Default

Under global settings, at the bottom is 'cleanup'. This is what you want. Just enter your directories to monitor, then "vprj" as the extension to delete if there is no matching "tp, mpg" file. Should work fine.
