I use dirmon2 to run a script that converts AVI to MPG to be played on my MediaMVP. Once the process is done, I would like to delete the AVI files. So, the rule is:
Delete *.AVI if Exists *.mpg (and the file is idle) The Dirmon2 purging option only allows to delete where Not Exists (also - there is no "when file is idle" option). I tried to run a batch file, but DEL would not work with a path that uses slash instead of backslash ("c:/my tv shows/shows/show.avi"). Why does Dirmon2 use slashes? Am I missing anything in the purging screen? Any other idea? |

No, your not missing anything. It seems like you should be using a job to do what you want.
Regarding the slashes, I thought I fixed that. What version are you using? Jere
