First you need to add the directories and set the global options:

Then click on "Add Processor" and set it up thusly:

Save the settings and start the monitoring. It should be good to go now.

Jere. So basically, I would need to setup my DirMon the same way, except add the "process file even if being written to" option?

Question.

After a reboot, is DirMon already started up and processing, or is this a manual task? If I place DirMon in a startup folder, will this allow it to be ready to go automatically?

Thank you.

Jason.

It is up to you to get it running. Placing it in the Startup folder is how I do it.

Great. Thank you for the help. I'll be trying this out, hopefully, this weekend. Gotta wait until the HTPC is not in use...

Is there a way to have dirmon run SA on subfolders?
eg. I have my recordings in d:\recordings\showname folders.

Default Ignore certain channels

I record many shows from non-commercial channels. Is there any way to set DirMon to ignore these?

The latest version has a checkbox for subfolders. Unfortunately, it is not compatible with Windows 2000.

No. If you use SA and GB-PVR or Sage then there are ways, but DirMon can't.
