Suppose I have 4 jobs.
I want Job A to run all the time regardless of what other jobs are running, because it has a low impact on my physical resources (hard drive), but it should never be running more than 1 instance at a time because that would waste a lot of memory. I want jobs, B, C and D to run one at a time, the order between them doesn't matter much, but they absolutely can't be run simultaneously with each other, only with job A. Seems to me that no combination of priority boosts would work in this instance, and that I would need to completely separate job A from B, C and D by running a separate service and installation. Am I right about that, and if so, how can I run two separate services? |

I'm almost certain you can't run two services since they would both have the same name and try to get the settings from the same place.
Honestly, I have no idea how to do what you want to do. ![]() I can't even think of any changes or additional settings that would allow what you want without adding WAY too much complexity. I'm open to suggestions though. Jere
