GrandCentral invites available

Hello all,

It would appear that I have a few invites to Google's GrandCentral available. If you don't know what it is, well, investigate it! It is bloody amazing!

I will give a quick primer. Feel free to correct me or elaborate if I miss anything or am wrong about anything.

GrandCentral is a way to have one phone number that gives you complete control over where the call goes and what happens to the call depending on who it is. Say that you currently have a cell phone, a home phone, and a work phone. Sign up with GrandCentral and you get yet another phone number. Some of the things you can do:

Example one: Someone calls your GC number and ALL your phones ring. Whichever picks up first, gets the call.

Example two: Someone who you don't know calls. GC asks them for their name and then GC calls one (or all) of your numbers and asks you what it should do with the call. The options (as I know them) are: Take the call, send to voicemail, and send to voice mail but listen to the message live (think call screening).

Example three: You are taking an important call and want to record the conversation. Just press 4 and then there is an announcement saying the call is being recorded and it is. Stop recording with another press of the 4 button. The recordings are saved to your voicemail inbox so you can access them online or on the phone.

There are more examples, but, just, WOW!

Well, that's crummy. The invites are gone. I'm sorry. They just disappeared. I was hoping they would reappear, hence my delay in responding, but they have not.

My recommendation is to go here: http://www.grandcentral.com/home/reserve/

That is how I got in and it was less that 24 hours from when I signed up to being invited.

Give it a shot and if the invites show back up then I'll ask if you still want to be invited. If you do then you get first in line.
