SchoolHouse Error

Hi Jere,
Sorry to start your new forum with a error.
I have been tweeking my settings today within SchoolHouse. It has constantly been giving me the windows error with send/dont send on it when i try to load a second program for analyzing. I have to close the program and reload it again to do a second program.

Is there be a log file created that might be useful?

Are you trying to load another file while the first is still indexing? Analyzing? Done?

I had a problem with my PC. It managed to loose the TV tuner cards. I have restored back to an image, upgraded to 8.4 and its fine now.

It happened after it finidhed analyzing a file. Even if i closed the file it happened.

I had a similar problem with SchoolHouse that seems to be fixed although the correction seems a bit odd.

I have been testing ShowAnalyzer and SchoolHouse for the past week or so and everything worked correctly. Recently I purchased the program and after entering the code into ShowAnalyzer, the SchoolHouse program would crash almost immediately after loading any MPG file. I uninstalled, reinstalled and entered my key code into SchoolHouse instead of ShowAnalyzer, and everything worked again. I repeated this twice on the XP system and it seemed to be repeatable.

I also tried this twice on my dual boot Windows 2000 system also and was able to get the same repeatable symptoms. If I entered the key code into ShowAnalyzer, SchoolHouse would fail. If I uninstalled, reinstalled and entered the key code into SchoolHouse, both programs worked fine. I seem to remember an error loading ShowAnalyzer.dll on the 2000 crash - not sure why it would be loading it but am fairly sure it showed briefly. I did have to manually remove the Dragon Global\ShowAnalyzer directory (was not deleted during uninstall).

I hope this makes sense... Anyway, everything is working at the moment.

How do you enter the registration key in Schoolhouse? I don't see an option for this.

Not in the SchoolHouse. Open SAConfig and it is under Help.
