after reading the write above i started playing with school house and was seeing a lot of black bars which was playing havoc with commercial detection.

So i started playing with the options in part 1 and noticed that playing with these options actually reduced the number of black bars which in turn allowed commercials to be picked up more easily, and would appear in nice big red blocks.

Since i now have different profiles for each channel i am wonderring how these can be integrated into SA so the right profile gets used for the right channel?


here are the options i played with: the dividers i used, and i made the preselector threshold 70%..... just these few options reduced the black bars SA showed up from over 50 to about 15.... which i found helps find commercials better!
