After you did a save all, the ini file correctly set the preselector to 0 (which signifies "manual"). Does it still show "percentile" in the SchoolHouse?

No it shows "manual" but I had set it to "percentile" before I saved the settings... So I change it to "percentile" and save the settings, close the config program and open it again and it shows "manual" so I change it to "percentile" and save the settings, close the config program and open it again and it shows "manual" so I change it to "percentile" and save the settings, close the config program and open it again and it shows "manual" etc etc etc... I am understanding that you set it to "percentile" and save then it should show "percentile" when you open the config program again right? The only way commercials get found correctly for me is if it is "percentile" and the only way I can do that is if I edit the default.ini manually and set Preselector Method = 1 using notepad.

I've got an XP Box (for all practical purpposes of discussion I think it would be the same as an MCE2005 Box). Loaded SA Config. Changed setting to 'precentile'. Saved. Exited. Came back, its on 'manual'. Tried through Schoolhouse, the same happens.

Actually I tried changing several other parameters and saving, everytime the original configurations came back, both thru SA and thru schoolhouse. Almost as is the default settings are never overwritten with a save.

Even if I add a new profile and change the settings and save. It still comes back with the default settings. Hope this helps.

I'd also like to ask when this fix is going to be released?

I need to be able to set the preselector threshold to a lower value to be able to pick up commercials for a number of programs that I record, but I can't do it at the moment.

It's not just SchoolHouse that's not picking up the change - ShowAnalyzer itself isn't picking up the saved setting

Please please please release the fix!!!!
