I've been having the same problem, crashes as soon as you open mpg file.
Looks like it's the cached path though, as I happened to open an mpg from another folder and it worked.

Now I always change away from cached path, then back, and it works every time...

SchoolHouse was working great in my freshly installed Windows 7 32-bit system. Then, one day it stopped working. It would crash immediately after I selected a DVR-MS file when it tried to do the indexing.

As stated in the previous posting, I copied the DVR-MS file to a different folder and selected it, and it worked! So, it does seem to be an issue with the cached folder location.

Hopefully, the developer can fix this as SchoolHouse is an invaluable tool for fine-tuning ShowAnalyzer (which I absolutely love!).

I wouldn't bet on any fixes or other changes for the 0.97 version of ShowAnalyzer. Jere has moved on to ShowAnalyzer Suite which is the production version. It currently doesn't have SchoolHouse, but it is still evolving and something like it will exist in a future version.
