commercial padding option

I set these two options to 3 second and -3 seconds. When I set the second value to 3 seconds it ended the commercial 3 seconds into the show. But with the -3 value almost no commercials were being detected. When I stopped using the padding everything went back to normal detection.

To get the areas marked as commercials to "shrink" by 3 seconds on each side you should have 3 in the start block and -3 in the end block.

I just tested with those very values and it worked fine for me. Can you run it twice, once with the padding and once without and post the log files and the txt files?

sure np, what should I set as the border values by the way? When you enable padding it enable them and I was setting them to 0. Should I leave them at 20?

I strongly recommend that you leave the settings as they are unless you are trying to achieve something specific.

Basically, I think you should leave them at 20 unless you have a reason to change it.

Ok I reran the file with the borders set to 20 and everything worked fine. The results will be attached.
