UK Settings

Hello all,
Can someone share there uk settings for show analyser please?
I am getting strange results with my setup. I am using the default setup. Sometimes it detects the of the commercials before the end of the commercials.

I am using MCE 2005 and detecting commercials within dvr-ms files. I am also using DVB-T card (digital freeview).

I hope someone can help

Not really. If you can be patient, I'm working on bringing the Schoolhouse back. That will (should) make tweaking easy.

I am new to all this and have heard of school house being mentioned before. I have no idea what to expect but i am looking forward to it. Yes i know it sounds sad but i don't care.

I have tried tweaking but it seams to have made it worse. I need to reset it back to the defaults, then turn on that agressive segmentation to see what it does.

I have tried using ShowAnalyser in conjunction with DVR MS Toolbox in the UK and have found it only to work intermittently.

Can anybody give a detailed response to the following:

• What should I install?
  • I am running MC2005 and want to mainly use the auto skip feature, but would also like to create a file with the commercials removed if I record a film or something.
  • I think the last version of DVR MS Toolbox included ShowAnalyser ? is this correct? Should I therefore not install SA again.
  • For testing should I buy a licence or does it have the same functionality?
  • Should I install School House?
• Settings?
  • What settings should be used in the UK?
  • Is there any setting in or for DVR MS Toolbox that I should be aware of?
  • Are there different settings for autoskip and creating a new file?
• Alternatives ? Is there a different product to DVR MS Toolbox for skipping commercials in the UK in Media Center.
