Questions/Info Needed

I am wanting to get showanalzer working with the Mplay, a great video player for the Roku Photobridge. The developer has offered to see if he can get his app work with showanalyzer to commercial skipping will work while playing video files with his app. In order for him to take a look, he needs sample .edl files. Also, are the results of showanalyzer based on byte offsets or frame numbers? For his app, he would need them to be byte offsets.

Hopefully looking forward to getting showanalyzer working.

Is there any way he can use something besides byte offsets? If he has to have byte offsets, does he want the offset of that frame, the I frame prior, the GOP header, the Sequence header or what? In my personal opinion, byte offset, while easy for him, is a poor choice.
