My lack of progress to run SA 'live'

NB: I have purchased a full key of SA.

I've lost count how many times I have done this, and I have certainly lost count of the hours I have spent on trying to get SA working properly. But seeing a new download of SA I thought I'd try again:

• Vista Home Premium
• Restore it from a clean image on which SA and dvrmstoolbox have never been installed
• Install the latest dvrmstoolbox for Vista.
• Configure SA, setting it to create vprj output for VideoRedo
• Configure "Find commercials" in dvrmstoolbox to use SA
• Run test
• SA works, creating the vprj file automatically while running in the background.
• Type my registration into SA
• SA Stops working. It can only be made to work by invoking the program directly, ie it will not run automatically under dvrmstoolbox

I think this is the only time I have ever paid for a program to have it deliver less than the free or trial version.

Nevermind , Jere. I had just updated to Vista SP1 after SP1 RC1. Once I did that my USB devices, including the M$ remote started disconnecting every two or so minutes.
On top of that I can now network at speeds somewhat less than dial up. This is an improvement?

Yesterday I had finally had enough of this piece of OS garbage that is Vista, so I have put XP MCE2005 back. SA now works again.

Slightly OT, does anyone now how or where one can effectively complain to Microsoft about it's appalling Vista OS?
