History Channel causes crash

Howdy folks,

I have had dirmon and showanalyzer working good for a few months now. Just noticed in the last few days that any programs from the History channel, from regular comcast cable, cause showanalyzer to crash.

In the past I have been using some tweaked SA settings and it worked on all stations. I reverted to all default settings and it also now crashes but only on the History channel shows.

I'll be glad to post any other info to help me/us trouble shoot this issue.

Just wanted to mention that while watching the progress of SA before the crash it appears to crash right as it's entering first commercials. Also these are standard Beyond TV mpg files.

I reverted to SA Version 0.9.1.202 after wiping all the old/tweaked SA settings. It will now seem to do all programs and all channels well without crashing. But last night I noticed that SA seriously bogged down/stopped analyzing a file while I had the new Firefox 3 running. In the window for SA I saw that the CPU usage was down to %0 nearly. I shut down Firefox 3 and tried the same file again and it worked ok.

As I type this I am trying to analyze a file while Firefox 3 is running.......and.....it worked. I'm thinking it might have been an extension of Firefox 3 or perhaps a particular web page content that stopped SA (Pandora.com maybe). I'll keep troubleshooting.

That is really wierd. I can't think of anything that could cause that interaction. Keep me posted on anything you find. I'm doing some debugging here.
