Thank you so much for this new version. It has solved my problems with crashing. Now if it could only learn how to tune itself and predict the winner of the World Series (would have to be the Cubs) it would be perfect.

Default Re: Repeated Crashes

I've got the crash problem, starting last week.

I've been running v0.9.2 in XP/MCE05. Never a problem. My crashes started when I swapped some CPUs around, going from a Q6600 to a E3110.

Here's the things I tried, w/o success:

Ran Orthos for 1 hr to stress system - OK
Changed the SAconfig to limit cpu to 50% (50,1)
Throttled the cpu in bios to 6x (from 9x)
Updated to 0.9.6 (today)

Here's what worked:

Moved the dvr-ms files to a test Vista PC. - works fine (0.9.2)

My XP machine has PVR-150 drivers, but I only install the card when needing to run MC setup, and I'm pretty sure the drivers are old. My vista machine has never had the Hauppauge card in it.

I could put the quad back in, but would prefer not to.
