0 frame length last cut in EDL

I dont know when this started, but many (all? that i can see) of my EDL's have a final line of 3594.86 3594.86 0
which screws up mencoder trying to cut from the EDL.

How do I turn this off? thanks

Unfortunately, the last line is necessary for some other users of the EDL. It indicates the end of the file. Can mencoder accept any other forms of edit decisions?

Actually I made a mistake -- mencoder does complain about it, however, I had another error that was causing it to quit.
