0.9.6 is horrible

I am trying to stay classy about this because ShowAnalyzer has been so great for me.

Calling 0.9.6 a "stable" version is a joke. It may be stable for the system properties and not hanging. Definitely it's not for commercial analyzing.

I have DirecTV and it's skipping commercials on the easiest of shows that it's always been stable on. ATSC is just as bad or worse.

I'm in Tampa if that matters.

What was the last version you used that worked ok for your recordings?

I wouldn't say 0.9.6 is horrible, but I've had better success with commercial analysis after I set the configuration to Force SchoolHouse Mode. That's slower, but it's been better about analyzing commercials.

0.9.2 and 3. As far as upgrading to any future versions, I prolly would only do that when ShowAnalyzer goes h.264 for the new directv tuners.

Odd. I haven't made any changes to the detection since those versions. Have you reinstalled the old version and verified that it works better for you?

I did make some changes in the closed captioning section. Can you try outputing an srt and see if it is correctly seeing the captions?
