SA and ATSC with antenna

I have noticed that SA hangs pretty regularly when I have my antenna pointed incorrectly and the DVR-MS file probably looks like garbage to scan. When this happens, SA just hangs indefinitely..

I use DVR-MS Toolbox and the engine from SA is hanging. That's my guess.
