ShowAnalyzer Only works sometimes

Hi, I just installed Showanalyzer a few days ago and have not been able to get it to work. It will detect commercials only about 50% of the time. I have no idea where to start to try to fix the problem and would appreciate it if someone could help me get it working so I can justify purchasing a key.

I'm using it with Vista media center (32bit). It seems to work better on some channels and not at all on others, but never at 100%(only catches some commercials).

If any one could offer some help it would be greatly appreciated.

I have never had my commercial detection at 100%, I don't think that is a possibility to be honest. There are just too many variables between each station and even just between shows. Sometimes commercial volume is louder, sometimes it isn't; sometimes there is a logo during the show, sometimes none at all, and sometimes it is only displayed for a short while and then disappears; sometimes there is a black screen just before and after the commericials, sometimes not, and sometimes it is just a transition between scenes during a show.

On some stations I get about 95% accuracy. On others I hit around 0%. I think using schoolhouse combined with customized settings for each station can get you to a much higher accuracy level, but it is not something I have bothered to fool around with just yet.
