Default 2.5 days - no key!

I paid for my key around 10:00 AM CT (USA) Sunday and here it is - Tuesday evening, 7:30 PM, and I still don't have a key.

I've sent a few e-mails to Jere, to Showanalyzer@gmail.com, and I've gotten no response.

I'm hoping posting here will lead to my getting a key, as it's quite frustrating right now having paid $$$ for the program and getting nothing in return.

Next step is paypal and credit card company.

Not happy!

Give it a bit, for some unknown (to me) reason, Jere hasn't been around much, so it may take a bit to get your key. I'm not saying that is right, that is just the way it is.

How long is it taking for others to get their key? 3.5 days and counting here...

(Yes, I'm concerned.)

One thing that happens sometimes is that the e-mail with the key ends up getting caught by spam/junk mail filters. You might find it in your junk folder.

Nope - nothing was found in the spam folder. Not good.

I'd give it a few more days, then I'd take action. The amount of time you wait depends on how badly you don't want to use comskip, because once you do a charge back, I'd say Jere will never deal with you again.

On the other hand, I have no confidence in a developer that hasn't visited his own website in two+ months. I PM'ed him at least 10 weeks ago and I haven't got a response yet, if that is any indication.

Amazing lack of support. If I'd seen threads like this prior to sending in my $$ I'd have never sent it in!

Has anyone *gotten* a key in the last few days at all?

I can agree about the lack of support. I have no idea where Jere is or why he isn't responding or posting in the forum, he has never been very talkative about his situation, but I'd think that if he was away from the Internet for two months, perhaps in darkest Africa on a mission for his church or something, he would have at least mentioned he was leaving and if it is a coma, I'd assume someone would let us know. If it isn't either one of those, I can't believe that he didn't have two minutes to post in two months or at least ask someone to post on his behalf.

Up until very lately, someone was processing keys, so there hasn't been a total lack of support for two months, but support has been lacking.

I do suspect that key processing will continue, but I've stopped holding my breath that I'd see H.264 support in SA in my lifetime. I'm just hoping that Comskip comes out with H.264 support in the near future. (Comskip H.264 is current limited to their beta and supporters who donate)
