Default Description of options inside setup

Jere,
I know adding tips of this sort is kinda like commenting in programming but in a lull of development, do you think it might be possible to add some pop-up tooltips describing what each setting/option does/means exactly in the setup window? I never got extraordinarily deep in comskip's settings so I know it'd help people like me. Nothing big...just a thought. Looking good, though, so far! Can't wait to throw my recordings at it

I plan on it... sometime... in the future...

Seriously, it is on the TODO list.

In the meantime, don't be afraid to play. You can always go back to default by deleteing the ini files and doing a Save All from the config program.

Could you put the "File Processing Complete" header into the final txt file like comskip.

A perfect header for me is (between BEGIN & END):

[BEGIN]
FILE PROCESSING COMPLETE
102345 TOTAL FRAMES DECODED
------------------------
[END]

I use the total frame count to convert into a virtualdub "add.range" list.

THANKS,
TILTROD

Default Zoomplayer support

I didn't see an option in the output for .cut files like comskip has. Can this be added?

Zoomplayer cut lists and chapter files were both on the TODO list. Now they're higher on the TODO list.

Default comskip vs SA; priority

1.) unfortunatley SA doesnt work with my recorded mpeg files until i fixed them (e.g. VideoReDo QuickStream Fix); comskip does work with the unfixed files

so it would be VERY nice if ShowAnalyzer can deal those unfixed files as well

2.) priority setting for the process - would be nice if SA has a priority setting (e.g. like VirtualDub process priority: idle,lowest,...,normal,...,highest), not only the %usage of the cpu

Thanks

Would you be willing to provide me with a sample? My highest priority has always been a stable decoder.

Sure. I don't see why not.

sure, I ll try to record a short mpg file, but could you give me a ftp server where i can upload the file?

got a short file (~34MB) where it crashes at the point:"Adding frame 913 to frame array." (its reproducable)

Let me know where i shall send it to

Martin
